Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Having been first inspired by the shadows of trees she spotted in the grass, she set about delving into a technique thatconversely did not convey the selected object as a two-dimensional image on canvas. More like the object has been transformed into the artist's own image with the canvas taking its interpretation from the artist. This works best for objects that are living as well as items that have a shelf life like fruits and people. Alexa Meade's works are fleeting, but the photo is the only thing that remains. The painting and photography techniques are closely coordinated and result in a two-dimensional, flat area that is trompe l'oeil. Certain elements of the picture such as the hair, or eyes, display the third dimension. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models into the environment around them. It allows them to be part of the world she has created. The result is a blurring of the lines between photography, painting, and installation.
