Greenwood is a native of Toronto and was raised there. She also is a professional martial artist, and studied dance at the school. She studied voice and musical theater in Canada. She started acting classes at numerous locations, such as"Professional Actors Lab", the "Professional Actors' Workshop" and the "Jason Fraser Studio" as well as"Jason Fraser Studios", the "Etobicoke School of the Arts" and"University Settlement" "University Settlement Drama Group". The actress earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Toronto in 2006. Pinkville was her debut movie in Canada. Her first television appearance was on an episode of The Listener. She has appeared on numerous television guest appearances in shows like Rookie Blue. Flashpoint. Being Erica. Covert Affairs. Lost Girl. Saving Hope. Also, she was in small roles in short films like Little Phoenix and the Fists of Fury and as Jen on The Exit which she feels was her best role.
