Katherine Jean Bolduan known by the nick name Kate Bolduan in her profession is a journalist with American origin. She is most well-known as anchor of CNN's morning show At This Hour. In the past, she was a co-anchor of the CNN Monday morning show New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is also part of CNN's award-winning presidential election coverage for 2012. She has previously worked as a Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on both the US House and Senate. Bolduan was a Capitol Hill Unit member when she was a reporter for the congressional calendar which included events like debates to increase the limit of federal credit or the deliberations of the super committee. As a general assignment reporter she covered news such as those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. The journalist joined CNN in 2007 as a correspondent for the national news in CNN Newsource. As a national correspondent she was responsible for breaking news coverage as well as feature stories for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. In the past, she was a reporter for NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV. Now she lives in New York City together with her husband, two sons and two grandchildren.
