Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding on 30th December, 1986, in Hereford, England) is an English singer-songwriter. Ellie Goulding dominated the UK charts in 2010 with the catchy electro-pop songs "Starry Eyed" as well as Guns and Horses. Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding's soprano quirk and capacity to create catchy and emotional songs put her at the forefront for modern mainstream music, along with arty and independent pop. Polydor Records, a major music label, chose to sign the singer and began preparations to release her debut album.
