Emily Swallow

Swallow began her Broadway career by performing in various shows, including High Fidelity at the Guthrie Theater and King Lear for Shakespeare in the Park. Swallow also was in Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park and the World Premiere of the Off-Broadway productions Romantic Poetry, Measure for Pleasure. Swallow started her career as a film actress with the 2008 military drama The Lucky Ones. She appeared in the world premieres of Donald Margulies' The Country House and Louis Jenkins' Nice Fish both of which were held at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. In 2010, her performance in The Taming of the Shrew received the Falstaff Award. Swallow teamed up with Jac Huberman to develop a new stage show, Jac N Swallow. The two performed at New York's Laurie Beeckman Theater in 2012 and Joe's Pub in the year 2012. The hilarious misadventures center around two characters who face different challenges in life and with different levels of respect and morality. Based on their character, they're developing a television series. In 2013, she collaborated along with Mark Rylance, poet Louis Jenkins as well as the Guthrie Theater on the premiere of Nice Fish. In 2016 she starred in the production by Center Theatre Group of Ayad Akhtar's scandalous. Swallow made her television debut with Guiding Light. Her other parts include Southland. The Good Wife. In 2019, she is her character, the Armorer in the show The Mandalorian in Star Wars and also the leader for the traditionalist Mandalorians. The series has shown her face but she's not been able to display her image as the traditionalists will never remove their headgears.
