Alex Flanagan
She attended the University of Arizona as well as Salpointe Catholic High School, both in Tucson. She works for the NFL Network as an anchor/reporter and for NBC Sports as a sideline reporter during the Notre Dame home football games and also for Football Night in America. Flanagan is heard and seen during the Madden 10 or Madden 11 video games, where she hosts a weekly recap of the game program with Fran Charles. Alex originates from Sonoita in Arizona. Her husband is the former University of Arizona basketball player Kevin Flanagan. The couple has two daughters as well as one son. Alex's dad owns two Arizona steakhouses: The Steak Out (located at Sonoita) and Dove Mountain. Flanagan was able to get a head start into her professional career as a reporter for news and anchor during her time at college. She was a student intern at KVOA-TV and started covering sports in 1998. She was a reporter and anchor for NBC Sports as well as NFL Network, ESPN and Fox Sports. She was also an active Gamma Phi Beta member. Flanagan's initial job on TV was working as a Saturday anchor as well as a general assignment reporter for KCCO-TV, Alexandria, Minnesota when she was a graduate. In that role she reported to WSFA-TV Montgomery Alabama.
