The Horizon Award is presented to people from the private sector who have contributed to expanding opportunities for all Americans through their own personal contribution, and have set exemplary examples for children through their accomplishments in their lives. Tom was an excellent co-player, grateful to be included with such a talented and experienced group, practicing and playing hard whenever his Magnum schedule permitted .... He was very patient with us all and we loved the huge crowds that replaced the sparse number of players' spouses and their friends at national tourney matches. ".
